Kespry Cloud: Measure Workspace - Layers

The Layers tab in the Measure Workspace allows you to view and change active layers on your selected mission.

To change Layers follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Navigate to the Measure Workspace in the Kespry Cloud.

  2. Select the Layers tab in the toolbox located at the bottom right of the screen.

  3. To turn on/off any polygons and markers you have drawn on your mission, select the On/Off option under Polygons and Markers, this does not delete markers from a mission only temporarily hides them.

  4. To view the contours of your mission select Contours.

  5. Adjust the Major, Minor lines & Opacity by sliding the tabs.

  6. To view contour values, zoom into your point of interest.

  7. For flights done by the Kespry 2 or Kespry M, the contours will be labelled in the NAVD88 vertical datum.  This is the most commonly used vertical datum in North America, and is widely used across construction, mining, and surveying.  GPS natively uses the WGS84 vertical datum, which can vary significantly at some points.  If your contours are not at the altitudes you expect, your "known" elevations are likely in WGS84. For flights done by the Kespry Drone 2s or Kespry P, the contours will appear in whatever vertical datum the known reference point was surveyed in.
