Kespry Cloud: Settings

The Kespry Cloud Settings are available to you to make various adjustments throughout the Cloud.

 

Everything available to change in the Kespry Cloud Settings is outlined below. 

Units: Select this setting to change any of the units you see in Kespry Cloud

  1. Select your preferred units from the dropdown menus.  

  2. Kespry Cloud will automatically convert between units based on your choices, and they will apply across all sites when you visit them.

  3. Units preferences are saves by computer, so your unit settings may vary from your coworkers, or when you sign in from a new computer for the first time.

Cut/Fill Settings: Select this setting to enable feature extraction.

  1. The automated Feature Extraction in Kespry Cloud is designed primarily to remove stationary vehicles and equipment from the Digital Surface Model (DSM). 

  2. Toggle on to use in the Feature Extracted DSM’s in the Measure Workspace.

Site Settings: Select this setting to rename a site.

  1. Open the site you would like to rename  in Kespry Cloud

  2. Type a new name for the site in the box, and click "Save"

  3. To receive email notifications when a mission is processed for a site, click on the Receive Notifications checkbox.

Mission Settings: Select this setting to reorganize your sites.

  1. Open the site you would like to move  in Kespry Cloud

  2. Move the toggle to Existing.

  3. Find the site you would like to group the mission under, and click Save.

  4. If you would like to create a new site, move the toggle to New.

  5. Name the new site and save.

  6. To receive email notifications when a mission is processed for a site, click on the Receive Notifications checkbox.

Design Surface Settings: Select this setting to upload a design plan

  1. Select the site you would like to upload a .tif or .dxf file for. Then choose the file you would like to upload. 

  2. Name the file you are uploading & click Save.

  3. If uploading a DXF file, this can take up to 5 days to process. 

  4. You will see which file is In Use when viewing the Design Surface Settings. 

  5. Once uploaded and in use, click Delete to remove the file if no longer needed.

Inventory Settings: Select this setting to enable the use of SKU numbers with products.

  1. Toggle on SKU to identify products with SKU numbers.

  2. The SKU is a tracking number for material that makes it easy to integrate Kespry data into your other systems

GPS Entry: Select this setting to enter and review GPS coordinates for RTK flights.

  1. Prior to flying an RTK mission you’ll need to enter in GPS coordinate information for the point that you will have your RTK base station set on. 

  2. After entering in coordinate information, click Update Map to confirm your point is located in the correct spot & then click Create.

Mission Lock/Delete: Select this setting to make permanent changes to a mission.

  1. Select the mission in Kespry Cloud that you would like to change. 

  2. Select Lock when wanting to permanently prevent any further changes to be made to a mission.

  3. Select Delete when you would like to permanently erase a mission from your Kespry Cloud.

Invites: Select this setting to invite someone in to your Kespry Cloud.

  1. Invites can be used to temporarily provide access to your Kespry Cloud to any (example: external contractors)

  2. Type the email address of who you’d like to invite.

  3. Decide whether or not they can edit within the Kespry Cloud.

  4. Click Send Invite.

Manage Access: Select this setting to add new users & to determine the level of access individuals should have within Kespry Cloud (Admins Only)

  1. Select Add Member

  2. Type the email address of the new user.

  3. Assign the user a level of access.

    1. Read Only: A user can only view the Kespry Cloud.

    2. Read & Write: A user can view and edit in the cloud.

    3. Admin: A user has the ability to read, write and manage other users.

  4. Select Remove if a user needs to be deleted.
