Uploading Data to Kespry Cloud

To begin the upload process, log in to Kespry Cloud and navigate to the upload icon on the toolbar:

Selecting this icon will pull up the upload form for users to enter important information about their mission. Users can access this tool via their web browser on a computer or within DJI’s Mavic 3 Enterprise crystal sky controller.

  1. Start by entering the date and time of your flight.

  2. If your mission was previously flown, leave the site type as “Existing Site” and search the location in the “Site Name” field. If your mission is of a new area, select “New Site” and enter your new site name in the “Site Name” field.

  3. Next, select the Operator that conducted the mission.

  4. Select the Flight Type of your mission. Currently you can choose between “RTK” and “Standalone/No GPS.”

    1. If the mission was flown with RTK, choose the control point the base station was set up on in the GCP dropdown box. If your GCP is not listed, you may need to enter it into the GPS Entry tool before proceeding.

    2. If the mission was flown with Standalone (no RTK), enter the EPSG code in the search bar below. If the EPSG code is not known, typing the state or UTM zone will bring up selections of EPSG codes in that area.

  5. Once the above information has been filled out, press “Continue” to move on to the next step.

  6. While at the “Request Custom Deliverables” Page, you may select any of the following choices if you have a project with requirements that fall outside of the automated deliverables Kespry Cloud currently provides.

    1. You will need to select the Orthophoto and Stockpile Volume Report deliverables if you are requesting the stockpile volumetric measurements to be calculated by our internal processing team. Selecting any of these options will send a notification to a Firmatek employee at which time they will reach out to discuss the scope of the project and billing details.

    2. Customers that wish to use the normal DIY Kespry tools to produce measurements can select the “Skip this step” option to proceed.

  7. Once at the “Data Upload” page, select the “Click to upload” button to search your directory and select the photos collected in your mission. Enter your Dataset Name on the right and select the “Upload” button to begin the upload process. Make sure to not leave the page while the photos are uploading. Once the upload is complete the window on the right will close and the automated stitching process will begin.
