View a Deliverable

Introduction

When you open a deliverable, two things will happen:  First, the Deliverable Details panel will open on the left side of your window for that deliverable.  Second, the appropriate map objects will appear on the map canvas. For example, for a Stockpile Volume Report, the map objects that appear will be the stockpile annotations (polygons and labels) and orthophoto (if one is available).

This document describes what you will see and what you can do when viewing a deliverable.

Overview of the Deliverable View

In the Deliverable Details view you will see basic information such as the survey date and deliverable type.  The site name will remain in the header at the top.

Deliverable Header Information

TITLE.  The title of the left panel will say Deliverable Details.  This is how you know you are looking at a deliverable in the Firmatek Cloud.

SURVEY DATE.  This is the date that the site was surveyed / scanned.

You can use the dropdown arrow or left/right arrows to quickly move to another date or deliverable at the same site.

DELIVERABLE TYPE.  This is the type of deliverable at which you are looking.

Note: You will only see one deliverable type at a time (but orthophotos will show up under other deliverable types by default).

You can use the dropdown arrow to quickly change to any other types of deliverables available for the same survey date at this site.

View an Orthophoto Deliverable

If you have opened an orthophoto deliverable type, it will display the following elements specific to these types of deliverables:

  • Files: On the left panel in the Files section, the geoTIFF file is attached and you can download it.

  • Map Objects: Teh map wil autozoom adn dsiplay the actual orthophoto on the map canvas

View a Stockpile Volume Report Deliverable

If you have opened a Stockpile Volume Report (SVR) deliverable type, it will display the following elements specific to these types of deliverables:

  • Data Table: The SVR Data Table lists important information for each stockpile in the report including pile IDs, product codes, material name, volume, density, and mass.

  • Files: You can download the stockpile annotations (shapes and Pile ID labels) as a dxf file and the SVR data table as a csv file. If there is an orthophoto associated with this SVR, you can download it by going to the orthophoto deliverable with the same survey date at this site.

  • Map Objects: When you open an SVR deliverable, the map will autozoom and show the stockpile annotations and orthophoto (if one was taken as part of this survey).

View and/or Edit Stockpile Details

You can click on a row on the SVR data table to go to the Stockpile Details.

On this Stockpile Details View, you have the option to edit certain stockpile information.  See Edit a Deliverable for more information.

View Other Deliverable Types

If you have opened any other deliverable type besides an orthophoto or Stockpile Volume Report (SVR) deliverable type, you will see the following elements specific to these types of deliverables.

Attached Files

Right now for all deliverable types besides orthophotos and SVRs, you will find your deliverable as an attached file.  You can view a file by clicking on it. It will open in a new browser tab. There you will have options to download and/or print it.

Deliverable Files and Downloads

In this section you will see all deliverable-related files attached to the deliverable.

If you have sufficient permissions you can delete an attached file here.  CAUTION: DO NOT DELETE ANY FILES UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THEY ARE NO LONGER NEEDED.  Remember, all changes including file deletions are tracked (including what was added/changed/deleted, by which user, at what date-time) in the Firmatek Cloud.

You can read and make deliverable-level comments. Everyone with access to that deliverable can leave a comment and view all other comments for that deliverable.  If you need to delete a comment, send a request to support@firmatek.com.
