Firmatek Cloud Tech Tips

Firmatek Cloud is uniquely designed to work with most desktops, laptops, operating systems and browsers. We have worked hard to ensure that from the moment you receive your Firmatek Cloud Invitation email, you can jump in and improve your daily workflow immediately. We have also worked hard to ensure the most compatibility possible using just one simple thing to make things easy for you and your entire team: the browser.

Following lists what we officially support and recommend in order to use Firmatek Cloud. Please share this with your IT team in case of any issues.

Supported Desktop Browsers:

  • Brave (v1.19.2 and above)

  • Chrome (v80.0.3987 and above)

  • Chromium (v80 and above)

  • Firefox (v68.0 and above)

  • Microsoft Edge (v88.0.705.74 and above)

  • Opera (v67 and above)

  • Opera GX (v71.0.3770.138 and above)

  • Safari (limited support, v14.0 and above)

  • Tor Browser (v9.5.3 and above)

  • Vivaldi (v3.1 and above)

We do not support any version of Internet Explorer. We do not guarantee any official support for browser extensions, though you should experience no issues with majority of browser extensions. If any browser extension modifies or interferes with how web pages are loaded, you may run into issues Firmatek Cloud.

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Windows (8.1 and above)

  • macOS (10.14 and above)

We do not currently support using Firmatek Cloud on any Android or iOS device.

Screen Display Resolution:

  • Minimum recommended: 1024x768px

Supported hardware:

  • Any mouse, trackpad, or device that supports scrolling and navigating (tapping/clicking) via a supported OS.

  • Any keyboard.

Minimum required RAM:

  • 2 GB RAM minimum. 16 GB RAM minimum for optimal uploading experience.

  • 5 MBPS minimum. 15 MBPS minimum for optimal uploading experience.

Security and Network Software Whitelist Process:

In case of any problems, please have your IT team whitelist the following to ensure Firmatek Cloud email notifications and links work for you:

  • Pop-up blockers: Please whitelist https://cloud.firmatek.com in any pop-up blockers

  • Domains:

    • *.firmatek.com

    • *.amazonses.com

  • Email addresses, server, domains, and IP ranges to whitelist:

    • no-reply@firmatek.com

    • support@firmatek.com

    • @firmatek.com

    • *.smtp-out.amazonses.com

    • email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com

Addressing Other Issues:

Due to the nature of uploading Drone Photo uploads, the security protocols enabled by your IT team may prevent your browser from functioning normally. If you run into any of the following issues, please contact your IT team so they can assist you:

  1. Your browser freezes, crashes or shows ?memory? related errors when uploading Drone photos

  2. You run into issues when clicking on links inside emails, or when you click a link it opens a blank (white) page in your browser

  3. You are required to use a non-supported browser, like Internet Explorer
