Camera Settings for DJI GS Pro

For best results when creating 3D Maps, the following camera settings should be configured in DJI GS Pro. These settings are preconfigured in every Firmatek drone kit. We've outlined how to change your settings below.

  1. Open DJI GS Pro and click on the "New" button


  2. Give the mission a new name, for example: "South Area Stockpile Yard"

  3. Click Save. (DO NOT FORGET THIS STEP!)

  4. Click on the 3D Map Area button

  5. Click on the Tap button to draw an area to be mapped

  6. Next click on the Camera view window, which will expand. The Map view will reduce to a smaller window in the bottom right hand corner




  7. Next, follow the sequence of steps to adjust for the optimal camera settings:

    1. Select Multi-Focus (MF), and make sure the green box is selected (as opposed to the yellow circle). Focus should be set to infinity.




    2. Click on the Settings and Shutter icons and proceed with the followings settings:




      • Shutter Priority: S

      • ISO: Auto

      • Shutter Speed: 800

      • FS: 2.8

      • EV: 0.0

    3. Click on the Camera icon and proceed with the following settings:

      • Image Size: 3.2

      • Image Format: JPG

      • White Balance: AWB; Select Sunny or Cloudy depending on conditions







    4. Click on the 3rd Icon (the gear) and set Mechanical Shutter to On

  8. Click on the bottom right to enlarge the Map view




  9. DON'T FORGET TO SAVE the parameter settings to your mission
