Kespry Cloud: Measure Workspace - General Layout

The Kespry Cloud Measure Workspace will be your primary source for calculations in the Kespry Cloud. The Measure Workspace can generally be seen as three different sections, what you can find and do in each section is outlined below.

Section 1 (left)

  1. You can select which mission you would like to work on from the first drop down box(top left). Scroll or begin typing the name of your mission.

  2. Sort your missions by date with the second drop down.

  3. Once you begin drawing various markers on your site you can use the All Markers section to sort which particular markers you’d like to see on your site at a given time.

  4. Next to All Markers you will see two layered rectangles, this is your Copy Polygons tool. With this tool you can copy over any polygons and basepoints you have drawn on a mission into a new mission. See Kespry Cloud: Copy, Move & Duplicate Polygons for details.

  5. The information tool located next to Copy Polygons, allows you to see the flight parameters of your mission (fly height, imaging height), name of the operator & the reference location for PPK/RTK flights.

Section 2 (center)
The center of your screen is where you will see the 3D rendering of you mission and be able begin to draw insights using the tools available to you in the Kespry Cloud. Use your mouse to zoom in and out of your mission.

Section 3 (right)

  1. The camera icon can be used to take a snapshot of your mission. A high resolution image of your mission as it is will automatically download to your browser when pressed.

  2. Next to the camera icon, you will find a centering tool. This tool can be used to center your mission on your screen when it has moved out of view.

  3. The drop down menu allows you to view your mission in different ways.

    1. Visual Map: The default view of your mission, a 3D model of the site you flew.

    2. DSM: This view allows you to see a color graded mission, where the darker the color the lower the elevation, the lighter the higher. This enables you to distinguish between ground and material easier.

    3. Feature Extracted DSM: This view removes any large vehicles from your mission and prevents them from being calculated in your volumes.

    4. Design Surface: If you upload a design plan, you have the ability to view it as a layer in the Measure Workspace.

  4. The Toolbox & Layers available in Kespry Cloud can be found here. See our other articles for details.
